History

The United States Adult Soccer Association, USASA, established the Coed Cup in 1999 to provide a high level competition for the coed soccer players in the United States.

The inaugural Coed Championship was held in late September, 1999 in League City, Texas at the Sportsplex Soccer fields. The site was also host to the second annual event in September 2000. The third year’s event, 2001, was held in Plano, Texas, hosted by North Texas. The 2002 championship event, the fourth annual, was held at the Hampton Road Soccer Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia during late August 2002.
