Divisions and Brackets:

There will be three age divisions for Coed Cup 2008 -- Open (no age restrictions), Over 30 and Over 40. 

The Open, Over 30, and Over 40 Divisions will be divided in three competitive groups:  Premier (most competitive), Competitive (middle level of competition), and Recreational (lower level of competition - just for the fun of it).   Teams are strongly encouraged to choose the most appropriate level of competition for the team.  A team should not  enter a lower level of competition just to have an "easier" schedule.  The Coed Committee reserves the right to challenge a team’s group selection to ensure a fair competition for the participating teams.

For the Over 30 and Over 40 divisions, a player’s age must be proven by a driver’s license or other reliable government--issued identification such as a passport or birth certificate.  For the Over 30 division the player must be 30 or over by October 24, 2008 (date of birth of October 24, 1978 or earlier).  For the Over 40 division the player must be 40 or over by October 24, 2008 (date of birth of October 24, 1968 or earlier).

The Committee will make an effort to have a suitable number of teams in each of the divisions such that each team within a group plays the same number of preliminary matches.  Ideally, there will be at least eight teams in each group. 

Please register your team as soon as possible because the brackets are expected to fill up quickly!
