USASA Selects Sites for Upcoming Events

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 25, 2008) — The United States Adult Soccer Association is pleased to announce the awarding of its National Events for the upcoming years of 2009 and 2010.

The National Cups Finals, the Association’s most prestigious competition, will be held in Orlando, Florida in August, 2009.

USASA Mourns South Carolina Player


Indianapolis, IN – April 8, 2008 –
The US Adult Soccer Association mourns the loss of Krystof (Krys) Baczmaga of the Charleston City League in Charleston, South Carolina.

Krys passed away on Sunday, April 6 of an apparent heart attack while playing soccer. He was 41 years-old.

Eastern Pennsylvania Crowns Amateur Champion
United German Hungarians Continue Cup Run

Oakford, PA – April 7, 2008 –
For the first time in the history of Eastern Pennsylvania State Cups, two teams from the same club took the field against each other to decide the Amateur Champion. On Sunday, April 6, the Major Team and Reserve Team from the German Hungarians took part in this contest.

Illinois State Soccer Association to Play Soccer in the Streets!

Utah Soccer Association to Hold Referee Clinic


Indianapolis, IN – April 3, 2008 –
Come and join the Utah Soccer Association in their annual Referee Clinic this Summer!

The special entry level workshop will be offered to all Association members who are interested in becoming game officials for all the numerous games the Association hosts throughout the year.

MASS Soccer Elects New Officers

Indianapolis, IN – April 3, 2008 – Cezar Wislocki-Wasecki has been formally elected as President of the Massachusetts Amateur Soccer Association, succeeding previous President Pasquale Puleo. In addition, we welcome Steve Siniscalchi as the new organization’s Secretary.

The appointment was made official at the Association’s Annual General Meeting held on March 31, 2008.
